Osprey CE 17 (27Si/73Al)

  • Offers exceptional CTE matching (16.0ppm/°C at room temperature) to polymeric PCBs (eg. FR4) and improved CTE matching to electronic circuit boards compared to aluminium.

  • One third the weight of copper. Machining is similar to conventional aluminium alloys. Weldable and plateable.

  • Typical applications include electronic packages, carrier plates for polymeric PCBs and stamped components.
